Newly created, the formal Collection Garden is made up of compartments, each representing a perfume 'family'. The Padua Garden features floral plants such as roses, jasmine and geranium. The Fougere Garden focuses on ferns, lavender and mosses while the Parterre's geometric layout contains aromatic herbs. Beyond the Collection Garden are the crop fields where the key ingredients for the fragrances are grown, the river and orchards.
The Collection is a six-acre garden comprising compartments, each representing a different perfume “family”. The Padua Garden features roses, jasmine and other floral plants. The Fougere Garden focuses on ferns, lavender and mosses. Over 1000 varieties to date but these gardens are still evolving.
Blossom filled in Spring, fruit laden in Autumn, this traditional orchard has been partially left to nature – you can explore the maze-like paths that lead through the undergrowth, enjoying the scents, sounds and seclusion.
Bordered by willows on one side and wild flowers on the other, the meadow walk follows the bank of the River Stour. Kingfishers fly low above the water flashing their brilliant plumage. Herons and egrets are never far from the bank.
